Our system features a combination of ingredients.

Inside each of these ingredients is what’s known as the ‘active’ component. That refers to the part of the ingredient that takes effect on the gut.

We select these active ingredients based on the studies and scientific evidence.

The FixBIOME system requires particular percentages and potencies of each active ingredient, yet not all ingredients are created equal. We employ a strict testing process to make sure each ingredient meets our requirements.

At FixBIOME, we add additional testing steps that each ingredient must go through in order to be included in our product.

We know a customer doesn’t know the difference between ‘berberine’ and ‘berberine’ on a label. However, the ingredient’s impact on the gut will be very different based on the quality and percentage of the ingredient’s active component.

To demonstrate this concept in basic terms, let’s use the example of an unripe vs a very ripe banana. In the supplement industry, if you chose to include either banana in your product, the label would say ‘100% banana,’ but these two bananas are not the same to your body.

The ripe banana contains much more sugar available to you than the unripe banana. The less ripe banana contains less sugar and more fibre. As a banana ripens, the structure of its carbohydrates breaks down from prebiotic fibres and pectin to sugar. So, depending on what we want to achieve when using the banana, say, more fibre in our diet or more sugar, will depend on what banana is most appropriate for us to use.

That is a simple example, but it explains the concept and importance of introducing extra steps and research to bring the best product to market when dealing with natural ingredients.

We tested multiple sources in varying regions across the globe to find out which source provided the ingredients that contained the right make-up for our system.

Everything from the environment, the climate, the soil, the water quality and even the time something was picked & processed can influence how the natural ingredient forms.

FixBIOME manufactures with powerful natural ingredients, some of which are volatile.

These powerful ingredients need to be stabilised so they can do what we intended. In the supplement industry, studies have found there are multiple products that skip this step, and the ingredients they use are inactive by the time they reach the consumer.

That is because in order to give you the right amount and stabilise each ingredient, we need to separate them. If we mixed them all together, they would not behave the same when combined.
